Personalised Ramadan Candle, Lace Mandala

An intricate lace-style border, drawn in fine black linework, sits at the top of this design and does most of the visual work rather than any illustration. It's an ornate, decorative option, suited to a recipient who'd appreciate a more elaborate label at the start of the month. Two names on the label mean it works for a couple or a pair of family members receiving the gift together.

A detailed mandala-style lace pattern in black ink hangs across the top third of the label, above "hope you have a Wonderful Ramadan" in mixed script and capitals. The two recipients' names appear beneath in a plain serif, followed by a personalised message with space for the sender's name.

Hand poured in a frosted glass jar, using premium fragrance oils blended with natural waxes. The label itself is printed on a textured white paper, softly tinted so it settles gently against the frosted glass. Made by hand in Yorkshire, each candle is personalised to order and carefully packaged, with the option to upgrade to a luxury gift box at checkout.

• On the first burn, let the wax pool right to the edges of the glass, this helps prevent tunnelling later on.
• Trim the wick to around ¼ inch (6mm) before every burn.
• Extinguish using the lid (if included) or a snuffer, rather than blowing it out.
• Burn on a heat-resistant surface, for no longer than 4 hours at a time, and never unattended or near children or pets.

An opulent, seductive scent reminiscent of a romantic evening in an Arabian garden. This candle's aroma is exotic yet warming. Velvet & Oud beautifully combines heady rose and peony on a smoky oud and vanilla base.
