Eid Countdown Candle, Crescent Moon Calendar

A playful smiling moon sits above the numbered grid on this design, giving the countdown a light, childlike feel. Without a personal message, it relies on the illustration and colour scheme to carry the tone rather than a written note, making it suited to a straightforward gift where the calendar itself is the main draw. The deep teal numbering against soft white keeps the whole thing easy to read at a glance.

• On the first burn, let the wax pool right to the edges of the glass, this helps prevent tunnelling later on.
• Trim the wick to around ¼ inch (6mm) before every burn.
• Extinguish using the lid (if included) or a snuffer, rather than blowing it out.
• Burn on a heat-resistant surface, for no longer than 4 hours at a time, and never unattended or near children or pets.
